Since 2023, our investment in the community has extended beyond the built environment—supporting the organizations that shape the Vail Valley’s cultural, educational, and environmental landscape. Through more than $48,000 in contributions, we’ve partnered with those advancing opportunity, preservation, and the spirit of connection that defines this place.

The Vail Valley Foundation (VVF) is a cornerstone nonprofit in Eagle County, committed to providing life-enriching experiences across arts, athletics, education, and community enhancement.

Since its founding in 1981, VVF has delivered world-class programming and infrastructure—from the internationally renowned Vail Dance Festival and the outdoor Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, to the prestigious Birds of Prey World Cup ski races and the adventurous GoPro Mountain Games—to elevate the region’s cultural and athletic identity.

Moreover, through its educational initiative YouthPower365, VVF supports youth from early childhood to college and career, helping students realise their potential in one of the nation’s most dynamic mountain communities.

In addressing broader community-wide needs, the Foundation brings together public and private sectors to promote sustainable development, inclusive access, and long-term vitality for the valley as a place to live, work, and visit.

YouthPower365, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in the Vail Valley Foundation, offers a comprehensive support system for youth and families across Eagle County. From early-childhood Mobile Preschool (Magic Bus) through K-12 enrichment, mentorship, sports, academics and career readiness, YouthPower365 meets young people where they are and takes them where they can go. Its programs reach over 4,000 children annually — spanning after-school clubs like Girl PowHER, the PwrHrs initiative, and soccer-based COPA to internships, scholarships and college-pathway support for older students. With deeply embedded partnerships in the local school district and community, YouthPower365 empowers young people to imagine—and achieve—a future defined by purpose, connection and opportunity.

The Vail Valley Mountain Trails Alliance (VVMTA) is the backbone of Eagle County’s trail stewardship—building, maintaining, and protecting the networks that connect our community to nature. Founded on the belief that access to the outdoors fosters both environmental responsibility and human well-being, VVMTA leads year-round initiatives that blend recreation with restoration. Through trail-building programs, volunteer crews, and educational outreach, the organization cultivates a lasting culture of sustainability across the Vail Valley. Projects like the Minturn Bike Park and the Eagle Bike Park have become cornerstones of the region’s outdoor identity, providing safe, scenic, and sustainable spaces for all ages to explore. Guided by passion and a commitment to place, VVMTA continues to strengthen the link between adventure, conservation, and community in the Colorado high country.

Vail Yeti Hockey brings together the region’s passion for sport, camaraderie, and mountain culture under the lights of Dobson Ice Arena. As Vail’s semi-professional senior “A” hockey club, the Yeti has become a cornerstone of winter entertainment—uniting locals and visitors through fast-paced, high-energy matchups that embody the area’s adventurous spirit. Off the ice, the organization’s dedication extends beyond competition, fostering youth development through skill camps, mentorship programs, and community engagement. Whether inspiring young athletes or drawing a crowd to celebrate local talent, Vail Yeti Hockey captures the essence of the valley’s collective pride: grit, generosity, and love for the game. Each season, the Yeti reinforces that sport is more than recreation—it’s a rallying point for connection, belonging, and shared identity in the mountains.

Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy (VSSA) stands as a pioneering model in public education—where academic rigor and elite athletic training converge. Founded in 2007 through a partnership between Ski & Snowboard Club Vail (SSCV) and Eagle County Schools, VSSA began as a small program in Minturn and has since evolved into a nationally recognized institution serving grades 5–12. Its curriculum balances classroom excellence with world-class training across multiple disciplines, producing Olympians such as Faye Gulini, Tess Johnson, and Kai Owens. Beyond athletic achievement, VSSA fosters resilience, integrity, and community among its student-athletes. With state-of-the-art facilities and a holistic approach to learning, the academy continues to shape well-rounded scholars and global competitors—embodying the spirit of dedication and opportunity that defines the Vail Valley.

The Education Foundation of Eagle County (EFEC) is a vital pillar of public education across Eagle County, committed to enhancing student growth and strengthening teaching excellence. With a focused mission on in-school enrichment, mental-health support services, and stabilizing teacher recruitment and retention, EFEC invests where traditional funding falls short. From equipping classroom grants and scholarships for educators to advocating for comprehensive support staff, EFEC champions holistic learning environments and educator wellbeing. With programs that deliver tens of thousands in mental-health resources and support over half a million dollars in classroom staffing and materials, EFEC’s impact extends across every school day and every school in the district. Grounded in the belief that strong schools build thriving communities, EFEC plays a transformative role in ensuring that the next generation of Eagle County learners are both equipped and inspired.
